Somehow 04:05
Stare at the ceiling Painted corridor Buried in thinking Sinking to the floor Living with intention Of making my way out Though roundabout, I lie near To long for warmth so sincere But since you’re gone Packed up, moved on (to) where dusk baits dawn With illumination From the corner store Eyes were pacing The edges of the door Caught up in dreaming ‘Til we met at common ground Though roundabout we fell here To be so held and stable With measured If’s, we made clear A day we’ll both meet back here Though roundabout we fell here To be so held and stable With measure If’s, we made clear A day we’ll both meet Somehow Though roundabout you lie near To long for warmth so sincere But since you’re gone Packed up, moved on Where dusk baits dawn.

You might be right I stand to divide Oh, how do I advise My feet to choose a side I still may tread the line With heels dug in behind But that doesn’t mean that I That I’m not trying To find Your side But may I Remind You of my war? Invite me home A sign We don’t have to be alone But I can’t subscribe To what feels contrived I’m still pacing the line With hands glued down my sides I wonder if you’re fine ‘Cause I’m still trying To find Your side May I Remind You are my war.
3.
Call me when you get home And when you’re alone I have so much to tell you So much you don’t know We run around in circles Chasing Ambiguity Coming up short On who we try to be Where are the answers To the problems we have caused Find a way to escape And bring me along And you’re not looking For love In the right place It can’t be found in An expected space So you look to your past For familiarity’s sake And it’s this blindness we embrace. Rewrite your memories To perfect your wrongs Forget the part where you denied me Without any pause And yet you’re looking For love In my face But it can’t be found, in An expected space So you look to your past For familiarity’s sake And it’s this silence we embrace. And you’re still looking And I’m still looking And we’re both wanting Love.
4.
Will (You) 05:08
Will You make me small You hang me like an ornament on your bedroom wall Will You make me doubt My own amount I lay complacent like a ragdoll Will I live above What you dream of I try to be her, but I’m not I wonder if I’m… What you wanted now What you wanted now Want it now How you want it now You avoid Listening Look in my eyes While you try to please me
5.
Fight Song 01:51
I might walk right out And be the one to cut this off I’ve been wondering why We’ve been sinking Turning the tides against our walls We could go back to The place I tried To regret less of what I’d done tonight We might fight it out And see who’d be the one to cut this off Or we could go back to The place we tried To regret less of what we’d done that night

about

"En Root" is our second EP, coming three full years after our debut LP :) Deepest gratitude to Kyle Joseph and Spencer Inch for bringing these songs to life with us.

Never did we think this would come out in the midst of a pandemic. But that's how life is: uncertain. We hope these songs bring you some calm in the midst of this cloud of uncertainty :)
